November is the Month of Gratitude - Each week, we are highlighting part of our school community. This week it is our families. We want to thank our families for their support in helping students succeed, attending school events, volunteering, and fostering a positive learning environment at home. Your partnership with the school is essential to our students’ success!
Veterans Day Holiday - No classes will be held this Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in observance of the Veterans Day Holiday. Students return on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. If you are a veteran, we want to say, “THANK YOU for your service!”
School Spirit Day - Our next school spirit day is this Thursday, November 13, 2025. It is Sports Day! Students who wish to participate can wear their favorite sports gear of their favorite team. This is an optional activity.
Kona Ice - Kona Ice returns to Rose this Thursday, November 13. The shaved ice treat is available for purchase after school.
End of First Trimester - This Friday, November 14, 2025 marks the end of our first trimester. Student report cards will be printed and will be going home with students on Friday, November 21, 2025 which is a minimum day and the last day before Thanksgiving Break.

From the Nurse - Does your student have a doctor's note with activity restrictions? Please email the Dr note to our Nurse at otanzillo@eusd.org or roseenrollment@eusd.org. If you have any additional questions/concerns, call our health office to speak to the nurse at 760-432-2495. Office Hours: 7:30-4:00 pm. Does your student require medication during school or on field trips? Please ask your doctor to complete the Medication Authorization Form in its entirety (ex: Medication, Dose, Route, Time, Diagnosis) and return to the health office with the prescribed medication.
Volunteer POD - Parents, we need your help. We are once again starting up our weekly Volunteer POD. This will take place on Wednesdays, in room 24. Volunteering your time impacts our school community in amazing ways! We hope you will be able to join us starting at 8:00 AM.
Parking Lot Exit - As a reminder, during arrival and dismissal, drivers may only turn right out of our school parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation and support regarding this very important expectation.
Join our PTA! - Our fabulous PTA needs your support! Membership is $10 per family and flyers were sent home last week. The PTA, or the Parent Teacher Association, is a network of parents, teachers, administrators, and community volunteers devoted to the educational success of our students and the promotion of family engagement in our school. The PTA sponsors and organizes family events, plans fundraisers, and funds programs such as art assemblies. In every endeavor, our PTA volunteers work together to enrich the lives of our students.
Breakfast and Lunch Menus: All EUSD students have access to no-cost breakfast and lunch. Families can view our new online menus. Select your school and menu to see what is being served every day.
