Thanksgiving Break - No classes will be held this week November 24-28 in observance of the Thanksgiving Break. Students return to school on Monday, December 1, 2025. On behalf of the Rose staff, we want to wish you all a wonderful and relaxing break.
Rose Community Holiday Food Drive: Rose Community - we need your help! Many of our families and community members are struggling to have food on the table. We are holding a Holiday Food Drive from November 14 - December 16. We are in need of canned food, dried goods, and boxed foods. Please no glass jars or perishables. All items can be placed in our Gobble Monsters located out front or in the parking lot. Please contact our family liaison if your family is in need at 760-432-2495 or aramosalmaraz@eusd.org
November is the Month of Gratitude - Each week, we are highlighting part of our school community. This week we are highlighting our Greater School Community. We are so grateful for the support from our local organizations, neighbors and volunteers who support us daily, weekly, and monthly. We are so lucky to be part of a community that cares deeply for our school and our students!

From the Nurse - Does your student have a doctor's note with activity restrictions? Please email the Dr note to our Nurse at otanzillo@eusd.org or roseenrollment@eusd.org. If you have any additional questions/concerns, call our health office to speak to the nurse at 760-432-2495. Office Hours: 7:30-4:00 pm. Does your student require medication during school or on field trips? Please ask your doctor to complete the Medication Authorization Form in its entirety (ex: Medication, Dose, Route, Time, Diagnosis) and return to the health office with the prescribed medication.
Volunteer POD - Parents, we need your help. We are once again starting up our weekly Volunteer POD. This will take place on Wednesdays, in room 24. Volunteering your time impacts our school community in amazing ways! We hope you will be able to join us starting at 8:00 AM.
Parking Lot Exit - As a reminder, during arrival and dismissal, drivers may only turn right out of our school parking lot. Thank you for your cooperation and support regarding this very important expectation.
Join our PTA! - Our fabulous PTA needs your support! Membership is $10 per family and flyers were sent home last week. The PTA, or the Parent Teacher Association, is a network of parents, teachers, administrators, and community volunteers devoted to the educational success of our students and the promotion of family engagement in our school. The PTA sponsors and organizes family events, plans fundraisers, and funds programs such as art assemblies. In every endeavor, our PTA volunteers work together to enrich the lives of our students.
Breakfast and Lunch Menus: All EUSD students have access to no-cost breakfast and lunch. Families can view our new online menus. Select your school and menu to see what is being served every day.
