Last Day of School/Report Cards - The last day of school for students is this Wednesday, June 10. It is a minimum day for students and dismissal will be at 12:10 pm. Please ensure your student is picked up on time. Third-trimester report cards will go home with students on this day. Please ensure to ask your student for their report card envelope. Have a wonderful summer! 🌞
Calling All Gardeners/Volunteers! - Our Home Depot Garden Installation Project is scheduled for Saturday, June 6 from 8:00-12:00 pm. If you’re interested in volunteering and helping our garden project, we would really appreciate your support on this day! Please call the office if you have any questions or email Mrs Sanchez at ssanchez@eusd.org.
Returning Student Registration: 2026-2027 - Annual registration for our returning students is now open. Please log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal to update your child’s mandatory emergency card and contact information. Keeping this information current is essential for your child to participate in all EUSD programs for the upcoming school year. Click HERE to get started.
TK Parents/Parking Lot Pick Up/Loading Areas - Please remember that there is NO parking along the fence on the south side of the driveway in our parking lot. Remain in your cars if you are waiting to pick up a TK student after school. If you would prefer to get out of your car, please utilize both parking lots, to park safely. In addition, the front of the school is for loading/unloading only. Please do not exit your vehicle at the front of the school when dropping off or picking up your student. Drop-off and pick-up times are very busy and we must keep traffic flowing. Thank you for your cooperation!
Safe Driving/Neighbor Driveways - Parents, we have seen an increase in families not adhering to the speed limits, traffic signals, and parking lot signs in and around the school. In addition we have drivers blocking the driveways of our school neighbors. It is imperative for everyone’s safety that you safely drive to school and be respectful of the homes of our neighbors. It is important for EVERYONE’S safety!
New Student Enrollment for 2026-2027 - Welcome to our school community! Online enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year officially opened on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. If you have a child who will be new to our district—whether they are starting Kindergarten, transferring from another school, or have recently moved to the area—we invite you to begin the enrollment process as soon as we open. Enrolling early helps us prepare the right staffing and resources to give your child the best start possible this fall.
Preschool Applications - EUSD State Preschool is accepting online applications for the 2026-2027 school year as of May 5, 2026. Visit the preschool website to access the application. Applications will be accepted for children who will be age 3 by December 1, 2026. If your child will turn 3 during the 2026-2027 school year, you can apply on or after their birthday. Preschool classes are available at seven EUSD elementary schools: Central, Juniper, Glen View, Lincoln, Oak Hill, Pioneer, and Rose. EUSD Preschool is offered through the California State Preschool Program and licensed through the California Department of Social Services. Eligibility for the program is based on household income; however, there are additional opportunities for families who may qualify to participate in the EUSD State Preschool Program based on residing within the boundaries of one of our sites. In addition, students with IEPs also qualify for the State Preschool program. To learn more, visit the EUSD Preschool website or email preschoolenrollment@eusd.org. For Special Education Preschool options, including our responsive interventions and inclusive programs, contact the team at spedsupport@eusd.org.

Breakfast/Healthy Habits - iReady testing will begin next week! Please ensure your students are prepared to do their very best with a healthy breakfast each morning, adequate sleep at night, and water to consume throughout the day.
As the end of the year approaches, medication pick-up reminders will be sent home for those who currently have medications in the health office. **Medications are not picked up until dismissal on the last day of school (in case they are needed for the student during the school day). Please plan accordingly on the last day of school.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need help connecting with these resources.
Join our PTA! - Our fabulous PTA needs your support! Membership is $10 per family and flyers were sent home last week. The PTA, or the Parent Teacher Association, is a network of parents, teachers, administrators, and community volunteers devoted to the educational success of our students and the promotion of family engagement in our school. The PTA sponsors and organizes family events, plans fundraisers, and funds programs such as art assemblies. In every endeavor, our PTA volunteers work together to enrich the lives of our students.
Breakfast and Lunch Menus: All EUSD students have access to no-cost breakfast and lunch. Families can view our new online menus. Select your school and menu to see what is being served every day.
That is all for now - have a great week!
