Dear Rose Elementary Families and Community,
We are absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news with you! On behalf of California PBIS, Rose Elementary has been officially recognized for our successful implementation of PBIS at the Platinum Level!
This prestigious recognition reflects our school’s excellence in putting the core features of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) into practice to create a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment.
To earn this statewide recognition, our school participated in the School-Wide PBIS Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI). This tool measures exactly how effectively a school puts positive behavior support into action. Thanks to the continuous efforts of our staff and students, we are proud to show measurable growth over the last year:

Passing the 70% benchmark means a school consistently uses these positive strategies every day—so earning 89% demonstrates just how deeply embedded they are in our school culture!
WE'RE NOT STOPPING HERE! While we celebrate our Platinum award today, we are already planning for this school year. Rose Elementary plans to reapply for California PBIS recognition, and our goal is to bring home the Platinum award level again!
To help us get there and continue improving our TFI scores, our PBIS team and staff are focusing on the following key goals this year:
Goal 1: Create a formal process to access external agencies (e.g mental health, community social services) for non-school based tier 3 interventions.
Goal 2: Achieve 100% compliance on monthly data-based meetings for individual Tier 3 student support teams
Goal 3: Formalize a written annual onboarding process for all faculty on core Tier 1 PBIS practices.
It’s going to take a total team effort, and we know our amazing students and staff are up for the challenge.
Thank you for helping us “Make A Splash” at Rose Elementary School!
